Who can sign up for myBayCare?

myBayCare is available to adult patients of BayCare Clinic.

For which medical situations should I use myBayCare?

Use myBayCare for non-urgent medical situations, such as viewing test results, requesting medication refills, checking upcoming and past appointments.

May I view a family member's (my child, spouse, parent) medical information in myBayCare?

This ability is coming soon. When available, you will be able to access medical information for a BayCare Clinic adult patient by getting permission from the patient. The patient needs to give a signed Authorization for Proxy Access to myBayCare form to a BayCare Clinic receptionist and provide proof of their identity. If you have Legal Authority to make care decisions for another adult patient, you will need to provide a copy of that document to BayCare Clinic in person in lieu of a signed Proxy form. You, the person with proxy access, will also be asked to sign a Proxy Acknowledgement for myBayCare before receiving authorization. Additionally, parents or legal guardians may request proxy access for their minor children by giving a signed copy of the Authorization for Parental Access to myBayCare to a BayCare Clinic receptionist.

What do I do if I have a question regarding the use of myBayCare?

Send an email message to customerservice@baycare.net or call 1-888-550-5384. You can expect to receive a reply within 2 business days. Please include your name, address and date of birth.

Access questions

My access code doesn't work, or I forgot my access code, or it expired. How do I find out what it is?

For your security, your access code automatically expires after 30 days. If you have lost your access code, please send an email to customerservice@baycare.net or call 1-888-550-5384. Please include your name, address and date of birth. A new code will be sent to you via U.S. Mail. Privacy issues prevent us from emailing a new Access Code to you.

When I go to my.BayCare.net, the website does not look good on my screen. What should I do?

Change the resolution of your monitor display to 800 x 600 pixels or greater.

What are the computer system requirements for myBayCare?

You need access to a computer connected to the Internet and an up-to-date browser (such as Internet Explorer, Firefox or Chrome). For best results, use the latest browser version available to you.

What if I don't have an email account?

Since you will not be able to access myBayCare without a valid email account, we suggest you sign up for one before you proceed. Google, Yahoo and Hotmail are three examples of sites that offer free email accounts.

When I try to login, I keep getting a message telling me "login unsuccessful." What should I do?

Make sure your Caps Lock key is not on. The password field is case sensitive. Make sure you do not enter extra spaces in either the myBayCare ID or password fields.

I forgot my User ID; how do I find out what it is?

If you cannot remember your myBayCare User ID, please send an email to customerservice@baycare.net. Please include your name, address, and date of birth to request your User ID.

I forgot my Password; how do I find out what it is?

If you cannot remember your myBayCare Password, please send an email to customerservice@baycare.net. Please include your name, address, and date of birth to request your password hint. For your security, only a select number of BayCare Clinic employees are able to assist with resetting forgotten passwords for you.

How do I change my Password?

Choose "Preferences" from the main menu and click on the "Change Password" link to access. Follow the directions to change your Password.

Is my personal health information secure?

Yes, BayCare Clinic takes many precautions and is committed to keeping your personal health information secure. The information you provide on this web site is protected by federal laws. Questions about myBayCare features

Why can't I use my browser's navigation buttons while using myBayCare?

Use of your browser's navigation buttons may cause myBayCare to automatically log out.

I was interrupted while using myBayCare. When I returned I found that I was logged out of myBayCare. What happened?

To protect your privacy, if your keyboard remains idle for 15 minutes or more, myBayCare automatically logs you off. To protect your private health information, please log out of myBayCare whenever you leave your computer.

I was logged out of myBayCare while using it. What happened?

myBayCare system maintenance requires periodically stopping all usage until the maintenance is complete. Generally, system maintenance occurs in the early morning hours, between midnight and 5 a.m. If you are automatically logged out, wait about 5 minutes before logging back in.

How do I change the email address I have associated with myBayCare?

Choose "Preferences" from the Main Menu and click on the "Change Email Address" link. Follow the directions to change your email address.

What should I do if I find errors or inaccurate information in my myBayCare information?

The best way to correct any errors or inaccuracies is to discuss them with your healthcare provider at your next appointment.

Why do I see only a portion of my health information in myBayCare?

myBayCare is a tool to permit you and your healthcare provider to exchange information in a manner convenient for you. Some of your healthcare information is better handled in a dialog with your healthcare provider.

When can I expect a reply to the messages I send?

Generally, you can expect to receive a reply within 1-2 business days. IMPORTANT: If you are experiencing life-threatening injuries or medical problems, please dial 911. If your question needs a same-day response, please call your provider’s office.

When can I see my test results?

The time to get a laboratory test result varies by the type of test. Some tests have results available within a day, while others may take several days. You can expect results to appear on myBayCare in about 14 days.

Why can't I see all my test results in myBayCare?

For legal reasons some laboratory results cannot be released to you electronically. Additionally, your provider may choose to communicate some or all of your results via a different method.

At times, I've received the same test results more than once. Why is that?

Your healthcare provider may add comments to your test results after they've been released to you. Should this occur after you read the first test result message, you will receive the test result message again with the provider’s comments at the top.
